Anyway, I'll be buying a ticket come Oct 24th. Hope GA isn't sold out in the presale. And if I miss out on standing, hope our seats are better than the last Tool gig (extreme right of stage).

Re: Australia/NZ NIN/QOTSA Tour Circle Jerk

I said I preferred Kyuss, they said who is that . . . I wore a Melvins Houdini shirt to the Myer Music Bowl Tool gig. Bunch of kids commented on said shirt: "Who are they??" "Oh I saw those guys open for Regurgitator a few years back" (??) "Are they Australian?" "...

Could you perhaps narrow it down for me?

I do, and that's what I knew he'd dig Laswell. Don't tell Cali, but his taste in music is predictable as fuck. If someone plays with John Zorn, then chances are Califum digs them. You are more likely to hear me name drop Brian Eno, Coil or Aphex Twin than Zorn. 80% of Zorn's catalogue is  Las...

Personally I was hugely disappointed by new Jesu. Apart from that track listed above it was an anemic wishy washy half arsed mess.

Third Eye is a great song that unfortunately suffers a few too many hiccups along the way. Could easily have been scaled down by about 3 minutes and would have been all the better for it. A times - throughout it's all too many twistrs and turns - it resembles more of a demo that the band were tinke...
