Yeah, I'm pretty sure you are.

I felt the same pre Conditons of my parole. That album grew on me with Time and then I decided to give their live show a go when they played the enmore and fell in love with them. They backed it up with money shot and once again saw em live which solidified it for me. Both great albums and a killer live show. Earlier albums are still boring as shit to me though.

I feel the exact opposite. It's probably has a lot to do with seeing them live, but their earlier shows i thought were so much better then post Conditions (conditions may be the best tour). That wrestling bullshit they did was a waste of time and really took me out of the show.

The Airline/western theme shows they did early on were so much fun.

I really like Puscifer and i'm glad they put out some good stuff for us during the silent times.
V is for Vagina was their debut, and imo, they'd have gotten a better first impression if the songs were like their live versions.
Here's the live version of Indigo Children:

Compare that to the studio version:

Both are totally unique but I feel like the studio version almost sounds like a typical Puscifer remix version of the live rendition.

What if Maynard just stole all the Tool stuff and released it as Puscifer album?

Yeah any live recording I've ever heard from V album is far better than the studio version. I remember hearing an interview with Maynard where he said he feels like they discovered their sound on Conditions. Sounds about right to me everything before then was a little all over the shop for me anyway.

And vortex I got a good laugh out of the whole wrestling thing. Maybe I've just got a thing for men in latex though.. really should bring that up with my psych.

I told my new girlfriend I'm a Pisces.

LOL.

Is she ever in for a shock when she finds out I'm a Cancer.

MJK always seems to explore songs differently in a live setting, with all bands. Think about Annihilation from APC... the studio version of that is underwhelming, and the live version is amazing.

hope shes an idiot and doesnt realize its tied to your birthday.... or you gotta keep up the wrong birthday for the life of the relationship.

But to the main point youre making. The first step to moving forward is accepting what you are. #fourtheyecancer

I found this to be a surprisingly interesting read:

https://www.revolvermag.com/music/tools ... cond-album

Not to say I didn't know all of those things, but there were a few interesting points I hadn't read before (or at least have forgotten in my old age)
