A josh, Paz, Troy APC reunion tour would be siiiiiiick and would put that other bald dudes’s reunion tour to shame. I will also accept a James and Jeordie APC tour. Mitchell is a beast behind the boards and a genius, but his stage presence is..........lacking?

Let's be honest - Iha is not exactly a super compelling stage performer. All Mat is required to do is stand on a platform and play the guitar. Billy & Maynard are providing the "spectacle"

^I liked the video. Song has really grown on me, as have the other two. Stoked for the album.

I think it's probably my favorite of the three so far. They've also grown on me quite a bit, and looking forward to 4/20.

The video's not bad either, though probably isn't going to win any awards or anything.

Greg Edwards it is. Seems like a logical choice.
Then, in typical A Perfect Circle fashion, Smashing Pumpkins announced their reunion, which prevented Iha—who remains a member of APC—from touring with the band until June. In the interim, longtime friend of the band Greg Edwards (ex-Failure, Autolux) will perform on the dates, which begin April 14 in Tucson, Arizona.

Underwhelmed. I think Adam Jones would have been a better choice. With the added bonus of delaying Tool #5 even further. Not to mention making Moggie’s head explode magnificently.

Don't know whether to laugh or cry:
Billy Howerdel, guitarist and founding member of A Perfect Circle, had intended the title track of the upcoming album Eat The Elephant to be a Linkin Park song

I’m going to see them in April in SJ. Anybody else hitting that show?

I’m going in with low expectations. I know it will be decent, but not expecting to be blown away.

I agree with Hellboy, the last track is the best of the 3 so far. The other 2 are decent, likely to be better live as usual.

I will do my best to block out the Linkin Park embarrassment.

Man, fuck this band. I'm going to go listen to that new live Rage album. Tom Morello would never do anything with Linkin Park.

He did background vocals on one of their songs from their debut, but I think that may have been because Danny Lohner did the "programming" on that track.

I agree, and I am not a 30 Seconds to Mars fan. They are both definitely early 00s alt rock bands.

APC have been on some pretty shitty festival lineups - they can't really take the high ground there.

30 Seconds to Mars only real crime is being dreadfully mediocre, and probably wouldn't be of any real note except for Leto.

He's not singing the lead in the chorus, he's singing the echoed background parts on the line "Weak fallen man" and then all the lines in the final chorus.

Yeah I agree, and I am a fan of both as well. APC are much better, but 30 seconds is still good. The drummer is solid, and there are some real gems in there. Although I totally understand why people would be turned off by them. You kind of have to embrace the pop aspect of their music, but there is good pop out there.

I don't mind pop music in it's own right. Often when it's blended with other genres though, the result is that the non-pop genre just watered down and bland.
