I like this album and never got around to picking it up, so would buy if I were at Coachella.

I believe so.  We have 3 versions of Undertow on vinyl...original, grey and clear.  I have no problem purchasing the same album on red vinyl and wish I could.

Also, I wouldn't consider this a RSD release since it's only being issued @ Coachella. What the fuck is that about?!

I think this is bullshit. I don't know how they can claim to call it a Record Store Day release when it's sold in one location for the benefit of those fans who happen be attending Coachella. They borrowed a date and assumedly a listing on future RSD history lists, yet limited the release not only in number but sale location? What the hell?

It happens.  Look at the list.  They have quite a few regional releases.

I wasn't aware of this. Still, I think if it's just regional, it shouldnt be considered a RSD release. That's part of the fun for me and others, the anticipation of finding out if your record store is going to carry the vinyl you're looking for. Oh wel;- there's a few other releases I'm excited for. Kind of bummed that Mastadon isn't releasing something. I've been the past 2 or 3 years and they always have something.

I've never been to a shop on RSD. Looks like there are 3 in my area... Maybe ill check one out. Carina has a release that day as well.

Get in line early! No joke. People are serious about RSD.

Yep, or just go there later in the day and take your chances with what you want not being there, which is somewhat likely anyway since the record stores generally don't know what they're going to get. (turns out our local store has some idea of what they're getting, and have posted photos of the Deftones and Puscifer releases)

One of the remaining record stores here in town celebrates RSD, and the last few years the lineup to get inside in the morning has been well over 100 metres long.

I'm fortunate that one of the two stores within walking distance of each other is a cofounder of RSD. The selection is large.
