Honestly some people listen to weird music just for the sake of it, gameboutny I wouldn't sweat it at all, there is a reason why some things aren't popular, do what you do and find solace in that, you don't have to get everything in life, no one ever does, as much as they pretend they do.

Wise words Tyson. Though it's not just the ultra obscure stuff I'm talking about. I also mean stuff like classical or jazz, which seem to me like the two genres with the most prestige. Can't help but envy people who favor that stuff.

In relation to Jazz and Classical, go check that stuff out live, that may just change your opinion, there are plenty of 60 year old guys playing jazz somewhere in most towns over a weekend, hell you might even see Kittan

- You like noisy music?
- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.
- You don't like to think? What do you like?
- Never thought about it.

Haha, I listened to Spirit of Eden first, which I thought was good but never reached its full potential. Laughing Stock does a much better job.

Two new albums today:

Nine Inch Nails - decent, better than their last few. Nothing amazing either though.
Death Grips - solid release, probably one of their better albums.

NIN - the first half is....eh, pretty throwaway. But then it picks up - considerably. Just wish those first two tracks weren't so slap dash sounding. Also, he needs to work on his lyrics. For the most part they're rubbish. They just sound likes he's not even trying most of the time.

Death Grips - I like what I'm hearing so far.

Regarding Death Grips album, any idea what song(s) Justin plays on?

I haven't read anything that confirms what tracks he's on, but there are several with prominent bass being played on them. However I'd say that none of those have a distinct "Justin" sound about them.

I know. I'm cheesy. You would be too if you idolized a rock star like a super hero and said rockstar just went through some shit.
