Now... you wanna talk taking on ridiculous album gaps and STILL shattering expectations? Yeah, this album.

My sweet demonic stoner lord!! This album is better than it has any right to be. And also maybe the most beautifully mastered/mixed album I’ve heard in I don’t know how long. More engineers need to understand letting heavy music BREATHE and have some head room. Cranking my rig as loud as it goes (safely) is how it’s supposed to work. Bra-fucking-vo.

Also The Botanist May or May not end up being my favorite Sleep song. Unreal

The new album is fucking epic.
- You like noisy music?
- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.
- You don't like to think? What do you like?
- Never thought about it.

Preach it man so impressed with this album. Dopesmoker was such an important album that influenced so many bands and essentially laid the ground work for an entire new genre. After all these years to release an album of such quality that it can even be mentioned in the same breath as Dopesmoker is a massive achievement. The Sciences is a superb album, far exceeded my expectations

It's selling on ebay for as much US$360.

Found a seller who was willing to part with it for a mere US$110.

Sure to improve in worth - my (original artwork) copy of Dopesmoker (not the recent rerelease) goes for several hundred bucks a copy.

I spend a shit load of cash on records, in case you were wondering.

Surprised you had to get the record off ebay. Was it that they did a very limited run or was the vinyl just not being sold down there?
