Del Toro could've made Pacific Rim so much better. Pity.
But he will always be cool because he made Il Fauno del Laberinto.

Smokin hot.

ahem.

Pacific Rim had a good soundtrack. It had some good ideas (neon genesis evangelion). But the battles took place in the dark. The humour was an attempt at Michael Bay humour and failed at that. Plus... a wall...? c 'mon on.
The movie was a good action movie, but it could've been better.

I've read the first two books and they were not great. I haven't checked out the show yet.
