Not sure if manga counts, but I'm currently reading Vagabond which is drawn and written Takahiko Inoue and based on the novel Musashi by Eiji Yoshikawa. It's beautifully drawn and pretty great.

I barely read books anymore cause i spend too much time on here but at the moment i managed to get into Mick Karns self published book ''Japan & Self Existence'' If you ever liked Mick Karns solo albums or Japan which hes more known for, its worth checking out.
