Tigers bolstered their bullpen by
adding Soria from RP's Rangers.
You got two good prospects though so win win.

Yea I'm ok with the trade. I'm actually really happy for it this season but ok with it for next.
The Rangers should be back to at least being in the hunt and having a closer like Soria would be nice. Who knows maybe Feliz can regain his old form.

What a playoffs so far. I am a die hard Dodger fan since birth, and we better go all the way, but I gotta say I am rooting for the Royals to take the AL. They have been in the shits for as long as I can remember. They have some amazing grit and their players are stepping the fuck up. Exciting times
And any time we don't have to hear about the Skanks or Red Sox is a great thing

Naw, they're cursed! Congratulations to your Cubs.
'Walk up to the plate' baseball music:
1st inning: 'Stop!' - Jane's Addiction, 'here we go...'
middle innings: 'Three Days'...the middle section with jungle drums
bottom of the ninth, two out, bases loaded, down three: Kashmir

One hell of a Home Run Derby!! My boy Joc got robbed but was easily the most entertaining derby I’ve seen in years.
Re: MLB
Vlad Jr did put on a show of course the ball is juiced big time. Verlander spoke about it recently. Everyone knows it they needed to get the home run numbers up. I say just allow PEDs and watch the sparks fly

Re: MLB
I’d like an independent 3rd party to investigate the juiced ball theory. MLB obviously denied what Verlander accused them of doing. It’s hard to believe them. Then again batters are taking the HR approach more than ever. Who knows, but it’s still exciting to watch.

No one's posted in this thread in a while, but anyone watch the Little League Classic game last night between the Cubbies and Pittsburgh? I thought it was pretty cool for all those kids, who are already doing something really cool, and something they'll never forget. I also really liked how small of stadium they were playing in, felt a lot more intimate and old school!
