Newcastle beat Wellington in a pre-season members-only game.

Either way you look at it, I won. :P

Not if you just watched the first part of the first quarter...

But after that, absolutely. Still great BBall, and I'm glad Serbia didn't just give up. They earned their Silver.

I hope that Steph and Klay bring that experience with them to training camp and on to the regular season. Warriors need a strong start to build on in the very tough Western con.

Oh get absolutely fucked, yeah yeah my fault, I just turned on 7mate thinking the game started at 19:30, like it fucking should.

That fucking score, would have been a great game to watch.

Oh well, league it is.

Glad that Port lost - this week would have been intolerable should they have made it to the Grand Final.

Cowboys got fucking robbed :(

Yeah, 3 years in a row now, that after game interview with Johnathan Thurston was hilarious.

"Look mate, I don't want to get myself into trouble"

He was fucking fuming

Topor-Stanley has finally been called up to the Socceroos. He's no Ognenovski (sp), but given the chance he's more than capable of being as such.

I've just seen him fall apart more than a few times for me to give him my full support. Ex-Jet, though, so he gets all my love, if nothing else.

Good on ya, man - I'm happy for you. :)

I get A League starting in literally thirty minutes through the usual channels that I was forced to use in Korea. But with the occasional glimmer of hope through based bet365.com. There's a slight chance of a HD stream on the website soon, but it's not looking good.

Hella awesome.

Peace out Landon. You should have stayed motivated and avoided your "sabbatical" from football. Bad move dude, bad move

Thank you channel nine for airing the Matador cup, in HD even.

Nothing better to relax with a few beers on a warm sunday afternoon with some domestic cricket.

After a tournament that felt about 6 months long, the World Cup Cricket is finally over, and the AFL season can commence!

Pretty poor from West Coast, bummed a few good opportunities that could have seen them get back in early... I hate Hawthorn....

Thank goodness!

And he meets the requisite criteria for preposterous name.
