I've written over 10,000 words this week in two assignments. That has to mean something.

I'll post abstracts/something resembling abstracts tomorrow if anyone is even vaguely interested.

I managed to use a TOOL song lyric in my Holocene Extinction project as the last sentence.

Don't ask how, or why. My brain is fucking broken.

^ Haven't been able to check in all day, and when I do I find this.

 

I won't ask how or why, but you must share the last sentence (or paragraph) at least...

An Undeniable Dilemma

 

          The ongoing Holocene Extinction is a testament to how brutally human beings have treated the Earth since they gained consciousness and an awareness of their place within their surroundings. Human-caused extinction is estimated to be 10,000 times more than the acceptable, natural rate of extinction (Wikipedia, 2013). Human overpopulation is at the core of this ongoing extinction event; greenhouse gases causing climate change, deforestation, and hunting, being the continuing effects. Something has to change – it’s an undeniable dilemma.


 

I can't remember why or how I put it in there (I've written over 11,000 words this week); but I think I started out by typing "Something has to change" - and just went from there.

The title of the paragraph was totally intentional.

My brain is fucking broken, man.

I have just finished my third stop motion film (The Tool visuals have certainly been a great inspiration). I am still very new to animation so any critique is more than welcome! Hope you dig it!

Has anyone done any artwork you would like to share? In year 11 art class when I was 17 I used the 10,000 eye artwork and tweaked it a little bit and called it 10,000 days of sorrow.

Im kind of all over the place making stuff wise. I go through phases of lapidary and silversmithing with the odd attempt at drawing. Getting back into a lapidary phase at the moment. I love Rocks

I wondered that too when I read it the other day. That foundation really went nuts with their definition.

I like my modified version better: It implies fields where you can actually get jobs and that have worth, as opposed to all the rest.
