Man I am so fucking proud to see young kids skipping school against the prime ministers wishes and demanding change. I truly hope this can inspire others to try make a change.

Whether you believe in climate change or not is irrelevant. If you cant see that we are fucking up this planet at an awe inspiring rate then you are either ignorant or in denial. Google the Pacific garbage patch and tell me that's not affecting our world

Personally I think using kids for political stunts is disgusting, regardless of the issue.

They are fucking kids.

No doubt their parents are puppet masters in this and if it was any other topic I'd be disgusted to so theres definitely an element of hypocrisy on my part. Saying that, when it comes to how much we are fucking up this planet, its never to early for kids to get involved for me so I'm all for it

Meh, political discussion is usually just a race to the bottom these days.

Another female quits a misogynistic conservative party. Just another day in Australian politics. The current government will go down as the worst of all time.

First time in ten years and the budget is back in surplus. Unemployment is low, productivity high - yet dumb cunt Australia is going to send us back to the stone ages again in a little over a month's time. Back to big, over spending government, union strongarm tactics, bureaucratic bumbling, open borders and billions on pretending to the make the world cooler and yet achieving fuck all.

It's enough to make anyone run out and vote One Nation, like I did that other time......

Well, that's what you get when you let a left leaning, pretend Liberal cockface like Malcolm Turnbull take the reins.

Yeah, congratulations.

So what do you want? Taxes up to your armpits and your children's children's children inheriting massive debt?

Up to 75% increase in power prices for a policy that will have ZERO effect on global average temperatures?

Increased cost of living and higher unemployment?

A government who'll open the flood gates for economic refugees and see the boats come back again?

A government that just doesn't understand business but is "hip" with the kids?

A government that's popular on Facebook but who'll decimate your super with taxes and blow it all on bureaucratic incompetence?

A government that will scare away billionaire investors and their billionaire money?

A government that will advocate for a separate "Indigenous Affairs Council" - separating us into "tribes" and driving a wedge between black and white?

A government that's going to fuck with negative gearing and imputation credits?

A government that looks favourably upon cunt organizations like Get Up and their anti Australian ways?

A government hell bent on taking from small time investors?

A government who will lie??

Good for you.

So long as it's not the current bunch of idiots, I'm ok with all of that. The current government has no track record of noticeably improving any of the above.

So, you're ok with rising costs of living, restrictions on investment, wasting tax payer dollars, changes to super etc - just as long as it's not The Liberals who are doing it?

And since when are the Liberals going to take away Franking credits and negative gearing, lie to the population on health expenditure (the Liberals have not made cuts - in fact the current budget for both health and education is at an all time high), drive up power prices to record highs by shutting down coal fired power stations, hinder investment in Australia by overseas companies, get behind Get Up, start the boats coming back etc ??

I don't think you read my post correctly.

Of fucking course I want that, I also want them to start taxing the bullshit trusts where the rich hide their earnings and pay themselves through loans or distributing earnings to their family so it lowers their taxable income so they don't end up paying anything. Then watch them whinge about dole bludgers living on $35 a day.

Liberals have already done that over the past 4 years though and doubled our nations debt.

Maybe it's time for another tact?

So what kind of an effect do you think this will have on investment in general?

Why invest at all? Why hinder and punish anyone at all who just wants to get ahead and be self sustainable after retirement so they're not a burden on tax payers.

Is anyone and everyone who tries to invest, stinking rich?

And what about this bullshit cancer policy - makes no sense when the majority of cancer specialists are in private practices and don't bulk bill.

It's a fucking joke.

Yeah I know, that's why big business have swelled the Liberal parties coffers with donations to thwart the ascension of Labor.

Oh wait, no they haven't, the Liberals are broke

Because it's a bs tax that has driven property prices to some of the highest levels in the western world?

Do you think that's sustainable, you think it's ok to lock an entire generation or more out of home ownership?

If you invest in anything as a source of income, then you can claim the expenses related to that investment. It's simple - hardly fanciful, pie in the sky "bullshit".

Factors that have driven up prices to such record levels are multiple. You honestly think it's negative gearing alone that's driven them up.

Fucking greed has driven them up.

As this campaign goes on, Shorten is demonstrating he is not a fit leader for this country. Labor are becoming masters of producing "feel good" policy statements but seem clueless at the cost, impact and unintended consequences should they ever be implemented.

"International carbon credit offsets" ? Sounds like another carbon tax to me.

Liar.
