Haha only ever give it up if asked mate. That's the way it should be.

I'm listening on radio in car at moment so am neutral on the quality of it. Your teams winning though so surely it's in the bag. I can't think of a time that a team lost a game when they were in front at halftime

Newcastle were good tonight. A bit sloppy at the end but got the job done, with no Klemmer or Ponga made it a pretty good win.... Interesting to see if they can keep it going next week against Melbourne....

I'm not sure Pearce ever had a kicking game strategy in a blues jersey that wasn't either bomb or kick it dead. I see cleary as no worse than Pearce but in his plus side has a series win and is younger

Mate that was a solid herpes sore too. Yeh they absolutely dominated once they got sniff. Didn't get to see it live which sucked. Had to turn it off when we were down 8-4 to sort some shit out with the misso. Couldn't believe the final score when I checked it. Watched the full reply last night thanks to my recent Kayo subscription

That's what happens when you don't have Suncorp magic

Made $60 tonight, thanks Tom

Love that man!! Go Blues... great win. Hopefully can back it up. Sure would be nice to see qld lose a decider and have new south get to hold the shield up at home after a win

Queensland looked very ordinary against a way faster and stronger NSW team. I have that sinking feeling that the tide is turning and it could be a few lean years few Qld... but I really can't complain I have been spoiled for the last decade or so.

I am looking forward to the Knights V Broncos tonight. I think the Knights will towel them up and have tipped them (which means the Broncs will probably win).

Nah I see them as being pretty evenly matched. Qlds got some great talent in their team too, just had an off night. I'd love to flog yaz for a few series straight but don't see qld staying down for long. Game 3 is anyone's game. Qld will be hurting and will come out stronger than they have this series

It's always going to be bullshit with the 'suncorp' magic, as long as game 1 & 2 are played elsewhere I reckon Qld are in for a few lean years.

Is 'suncorp' magic just a recent thing? Because I recall Queensland being pretty dominant in the State of Origin in the last 10 years despite many games being played away from the venue

It's been a thing since 1980, no one gave Qld a chance after losing the first two games, then they played at Lang Park for the first time.

So 'suncorp' magic applies to other venues other than suncorp? It's a 3 game series right?

Sorry, Suncorp (new name/advertising) is Lang Park (old name).

So in a 3 games series 1 game (sometimes 2) is always played at suncorp/lang park, which they almost always win, with the help of the refs/crowd/footy gods.

The amount of frustration watching some bs get pass the refs some years makes my blood boil.

I think one of two things will happen on Wednesday. Mitch Pearce will once again go missing when it matters and Qld do a Qld and beat us in the decider (most likely) or Pearce will have an absolute blinder and help steer us to a memorable win.

Because I'm an optimistic chap I chucked $10 on Mitch 1st try scorer , blues to win. Paying $320, not bad I say

In Maloney I trust.

I got money on Mitch or Tyson to score the first try.

Faaark, I thought we were going to snatch it.... Awesome last minute effort by NSW. I was praying that Fergo touched the sideline... Whilst I am fkn spewing we lost at the death, I am happy for Mitch Pearce who I like as a player (probably because Wayne Pearce was one of my heroes as kid)...
