Every 22 minutes I assume, like every other record.
hellboy wrote: Sun Dec 15, 2019 8:46 pm I'd imagine Tool are likely to put something closer to 22 minutes on each side than 12, so it seemed like a pretty understandable statement.

As I said, I didn't do the maths, but appreciate you doing so for me. Glad we can clear that up.

So you're admitting your above statements were wrong?

Not at all, as I was clearly referring to "every other record"

Definitely. For starters, Lateralus was the end of smaller venues, but more to the point, the live show introduced a lot more of the theatrics, lighting etc that weren't part of the show prior. The Aenima tour was more visceral & organic. Both experiences, awesome... Just very different.

I think those things had already been there for some time. The scale just changed a bit.

without being vague i just thought 2001 was more energetic and M could belt it out still. The segues between songs changed night to night too, more experimental. 2002 was more standard and going through the motions. not blaming them, large scale tours and lots of shows im sure do that to you. Ms voice started to sound strained then too. thats what i meant basically.

i like Juniors story about the YYZ thing in toronto when Alex Lifeson was there! i was at that show in the stands. great show! Sept 18th 2001.

Ohh yeah. Definitely. That's what I meant. ...From my recollections, a significant upscale which changed the whole stage dynamic.

Jr... During which tour/era did you commence doing what you do, if I may?
