i thinks he in to it, the last album i thought was very good. its just seems weird at times, seems like everything rides on his terms with this group
He's a critical part of the band, so that kinda goes without saying

  i think your both right though. Im getting the impression thats why they didnt make anything in forever. M was more interested in his other ''side project'' thing much more. Hes a diva in APC and it showed on this last album/tour. I'd be all in for Billy getting a female singer like he originally intended. It would give him a chance to do his band more often instead of waiting around. Unless he doesnt want to do it that often which is possible.

They didnt make an album for a long time, and from what the public saw it didnt seem like Billy was mad about that? They just... didnt make music? Then they released ETE and toured it. Not sure how people can say MJK isnt "into the band". I highly doubt Billy was sending Maynard instrumental tracks for the last decade and Maynard was ignoring him; although maybe im wrong.

Its not news that MJK has been more focused on Puscifer than the other bands. But it has to be one of them.

Billy Howerdel
Title: TBA
Release Date: spring
In 2018, A Perfect Circle offered up their first album in 14 years, Eat the Elephant. In 2022, guitarist-songwriter Billy Howerdel is set to drop his first solo album in just as long, the follow-up to his 2008 debut under the name Ashes Divide, Keep Telling Myself It's Alright. Look out for more expansive, ethereal rock in the vein of the latter album, as well as Eat the Elephant, some of the songs on which were originally intended for Ashes Divide

- You like noisy music?
- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.
- You don't like to think? What do you like?
- Never thought about it.

Josh Freese:

“Due to my schedule with the Foo Fighters, I’ll be having to jump off after the Hollywood Bowl on April 20,” he says. “Gunnar from Puscifer will be filling in on the remaining dates (maybe a little Tim Alexander too?).

“There’s a chance I’ll be able to show up to another gig or two after that if time allows, but for now that’s the plan. A Perfect Circle has always been a very special band for me, and I’m really looking forward to getting out and playing these songs again.”
