Twinkle Twinkle Little Tool
You know it's the Tool off-season when I resort to posting about lullaby albums! The latest of which comes from Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star who later this month will be releasing an album of Tool lullabies. Tracks included are:
Sober
Right In Two
Vicarious
Parabola
Eulogy
Aenema
10,000 Days
Stinkfist
Forty Six & 2
The Grudge
Schism
Here's a clip via Youtube:
That version of Sober sounds interesting, though not sure how I'd go with a whole album worth of similar tracks. May have the desired effect of putting me to sleep. Other albums include ones containing tracks from Deftones, Metallica, Pantera, Nirvana and Radiohead.

I don't think you can call it a season when it lasts 7 years
Must have been a figment of my imagination when I saw them a few months ago...
'...pigment of your imagination...' sounds better.

I once had one of those Tool lullaby albums mailed to me by one of the music writers for The Washington Post years ago. Â It wasn't terrible, I'll say that. Â Plus it was free.
I've got a crap load of lullaby and string tribute renditions of bands I like... Been using them to put the kids to sleep from day one... beats the fuck out of mary had a little lamb on repeat and as a bonus the kids recognize a lot of tunes I play and dig them. Â
As a side, being simplified in a lot of ways, they're pretty good for sussing out songs by ear if monkey around with an instrument.
