Played Wasteland 2 for about 10 hours over the weekend. Pretty good game so far, plenty of old school throwbacks to Wasteland, and feels like an updated version of Fallout 1 & 2. Combat is tough though - getting the right mix of characters is vital in this game. I'm considering restarting with a new party.
I have a key for this game leftover from Kickstarter. I'm willing to sell it for $20 if anyone is thinking of buying the game (RRP is $40 on Steam).
Anyone here playing the new Cod? I have mixed opinions about it. It's almost as if i'm forcing myself to like it because I decided to give Cod a chance, but I don't know. I'll make up my mind if I want a refund or keep it after a month or two.

I doubt that I ever will. I've played most of the COD's up until a few years ago, and largely enjoyed them, but the recent ones just haven't really tweaked any interest in me.
I picked up OlliOlli in a Humble sale lately (may still be on sale). It's a cool game, kinda like a 2D Tony Hawk. Pretty tough, and the controls are a little weird, but I've been enjoying it.
Yea it was usually UKE who kept this thread going, he needs to bring his sweet ass out of lurking.
I rarely use my ps3 for gaming (I'm not much of a gamer except for one here and there) but a friend recommended a game called Heavenly Sword to me so I bought it for $6 on amazon. So I'll see how that goes.
Also at some point this summer my friend's gonna lend me GTA V.
So the first impressions of The Witcher 3 are pretty good! Anyone who likes Skyrim would most likely dig this. The graphics are pretty good, and the world seems unreasonably large. You even get a horse to ride around Red Dead Redemption style!
Controls are a little on the wonky side though, with keyboard and mouse anyway. Might give it a shot with the controller when I play again this evening.
Game is much better with a controller. Movement is still a bit fiddly though.
Now that I'm out of the "tutorial area" (which is still pretty big - about the equivalent of one of the main areas in Witcher 2) the world seems gigantic. I read something that suggests the map is bigger than GTAV, which in turn is much bigger than Skyrim.
That said, the map isn't as packed with things to do as Skyrim is. That's not necessarily a bad thing however, since in Skyrim I often felt like you couldn't turn around without seeing a dungeon or some other mini-quest location. You need to get off the beaten track a little more to find stuff (though they're still marked on the map, so they're not too hard to find). This makes the world feel a little more real
The story and content are pretty dark as you'd expect from a Witcher game.
Horse riding is a little fiddly at times, especially compared to how well it's handled in games like Red Dead Redemption and Mount & Blade
Combat feels a little shallow. If they were able to combine the game with a combat system similar to the Batman games or Shadow of Mordor it would be fantastic.
It seems like the game wants to encourage you to use stealth from time to time, but there really isn't any sneaking mechanism.
Overall it's a great game, not sure it's a 10/10 but is easily a 9/10.
I've been playing Mark Of The Ninja and this level I just played had some terrible checkpoints. Twice I've respawned in the path of an enemy. One I could at least avoid by moving quickly, the other was literally a tiny room with a guard in it who was two feet in front of me and immediately put me into an alert state. Like what the hell, level designers? This is some bullshit.
So I downloaded Indigo Prophecy some time ago, and I'm thinking about maybe booting it up and playing it now, but the one time I tried to play it I played through the tutorial level and watched the intro cutscene and the writing was just so terrible. I'm not sure I actually want to play it now.
