It's part of the game unfortunately bro. Hockey is a completely different sport that requires a little more aggression. MLB, NBA, MMA they all have indiscretions in their respective sports and with football (soccer) it has become an every game occurrence. I don't necessarily agree with it, and It didn't always used to be that way. But it is what it is. Besides, since when did tatts and Mohawks make anyone a tough guy? But I get your point and I understand why you think the way you do.

because it just looks silly is all. this dude on Portugal looks like a UFC welterweight off the field and on the field he looked like a professional dancer who sprained his ankle. he literally had his two palms pressed against his face for 3 or 4 minutes, it was embarrassing because it went on for so long.

Silly yes. Unfortunately the refs allow this drama to happen. Sometimes they do card players who are over dramatic and obviously flopping. Just like Ginobli and Parker flops, and my man D-Fish did it all the time. The players do what they can to get the call to help their team. Not the ideal way of doing it, but it does happen far too often.
