Is Ram Jam's "Black Betty" the best song ever recorded? Why or why not?

Blair: What is your day job?

^^^ That's actually a serious question!!! I have no clue what he does outside of being Tool site webmaster (or whatever the actual title is). I doubt that pays the bills.

Has Tool considered mixing the upcoming album for a Blu-Ray 5.1 (audio only) release?

BMB:

Do you still play keyboards/piano?
Have you jammed with Danny (that must be a blast)?
Have you been in any other bands besides Surprise?
Approximately how many Tool shows have you attended (you, not your doppelganger in the white lab coat)?
What live Tool show was the most memorable for you and why?
Do you still have the original Coleman?

What are your thoughts on Keith Richards saying Metallica and Black Sabbath are a joke?! What would he say about Tool?

What led tool to do a one of (so far) show in Arizona on Halloween? Primus? Caduceus wine? Trick or treat?

Do you think Hellboy will ever mow his lawn?

Blair, is there any truth to the rumor that you have an unnatural fear of platypuses??

:|

Wait....platypuses? Platypuses?

Is the correct term platypuses or platypii??

Hellboy, please include a question about Rance Q Spartley. What the fuck was that all about? He was a part of the new album progress, then problem 8 and then he just went away.

Pretty cool. I couldn't help but wonder if he is telling us to read between the lines with his live DVD answer......Probably not.

I didn't read anything into it personally

After reading it again, it's probably nothing. The whole interview seemed pretty candid and riddle free.

So as a lot of us guessed, Adam being in the studio had to do with the curveball.

The Deal has something to do with touring.

Tool/Primus will likely be up to some shenanigans on at least one song I'd guess. (At the festival)

I was surprised to read that he isn't that familiar with Opiate and Undertow. I also don't believe him considering that a couple questions later he mentioned seeing them before they were signed. A dig at Paul, perhaps?

It was a pretty good interview overall. You can tell where there is info that he either doesn't know or is restricted by the band in giving out.

Thanks HB and Blair.

The way he mentions the Curveball and then in a later question mentions a lot of Live footage that they might edit at some point, almost confirms the fact that the Curveball is NOT a live DVD.

I'm thinking the "curveball" may be a collaboration of sorts. Tool (providing teh musics) and.......some other entity (Melvins? Lustmord?).

Maybe some Tool music with some guest vocalists??

Well, it's not a movie nor is it a live dvd. What else could it be?
