Oh how I missed this place! Especially yesterday with the announcement of VIP. I needed to read some rage comments.

Ah finally some good news this morning.

As tempting as it was to skip town, it really was a hardware area, followed by a comedy of errors (car break downs, jury duty, presidential campagins, lawn mowings) as the IT guy failed to get into the server room.

I still can't access from my desktop for some reason. It works fine on mobile though.

Not sure what's up with your desktop, but I have no problems (haven't even tried with mobile).

If you don't reboot your desktop often, it may be a cache / cookie issue. Just close all your browser windows and try again for a quick test. I had a similar situation.
