Great to see part 2 of this tour underway! Wish they'd come to Oz!

Baltimore looked solid but the 2 nights at MSG should be a good indicator of the variety they will bring to multi-night stands. always hoping on Ticks and maybe a 7empest at some point

18 unique songs played through the first 6 shows (i'm counting lost keys as a song)

hoping a few more come out. maybe tonight?

I think we've seen everything they're likely to play. The only one I'd throw in the mix is maybe 7empest, but I suspect as they're playing Rosetta Stoned instead we might not get that one again.

guest appearance keeping things a bit different. the only constant is change

edit: I also missed RIT by one show in jan 2022 so have to continue to hold out hope for that one. it was played 30 times that year (!) - I haven't seen it live since 2010

Please play Flood in Biloxi. Please. I would like to strike that off my list of songs I haven't seen live.

at last the LA/so cal run begins.

Excellent show in Los Angeles last night (2/14). The guys sounded great and the new videos played throughout the songs were cool, although I did miss the old ones for Jambi (fire/flames swirling around - I really dug that one).

Maynard coming back to add some additional vocals to the end of Descending was a nice surprise as well.

Looking forward to tonight's show as well. \m/

That he actually stopped mid-song to yell at that person was pretty funny. He sounded legitimately pissed off. Gave Intolerance a bit more intensity.

The crowd was more well behaved tonight. Another great show.

Highlight was definitely Danny in an Alex Grey inspired skin suit (onesie?) playing that gong. :D

WOW night 2 LA was quite a powerful performance.

"only" 3 different songs from night 1 but the guest appearance on jambi was excellent. not sure i've ever seen dual guitars for tool. maybe maynard played guitar during lateralus tour? could be imagining things. but this was 2 lead guitarists, so some fiery riffs for sure.

can't wait for ontario!

@Norm - Danny looks great in that ‘tard for an old fucker. I really loved the DannyCam in CCT too.

@3point0 - Alex Lifeson comes to mind… Kirk Hammet, there have been others.

In Fresno, we pissed MJK off so much, we didn’t even get to film the last song. I never even pulled the phone out, besides getting about a 10,000 close ups of Junior…

Yes, the Danny POV cam during CCTrip was very cool.

Flood on night two was also killer. Love hearing that song live.

that's it for the LA/so cal run.

last night was actually pretty wild even if maynard was under the weather. invincible and stinkfist brought the house down. it was the extended stinkfist btw - LA1 version was standard length. my son got a guitar pick from sound tech (!) and then was given a show specific coin on walk out. we got enough confetti to assemble one of the puzzles in full. i had a picture of the setlist but my phone has been acting up and it didn't save. the setlist did confirm schism as last song before intermission (no grudge). great to see 3 shows in 4 days. hope maynard is OK for vegas tonight

Despite being sick, Maynard definitely kept it together. Maybe not as intense a performance as the shows in LA, but overall he delivered.

Congratulations to your son on getting a guitar pick and coin on the way out. Very cool.

When Schism showed up so early in the setlist I was really hoping for a surprise ending, but so much for that. I do think Stinkfist is a better closing song, and the extended jam was great to hear.

Glad I was able to make it to both LA shows though. If I'd just gone to Ontario I would have been a bit bummed.

Here's hoping everyone catching the last stop of the tour in Las Vegas tonight gets a good show.

@Junior - Hopefully you get a bit of a break after this tour, and thanks again for stopping to chat outside the arena on Wednesday morning. Always great to see you out and about.

yes, those happened but i was not fortunate to attend any. closest i came was having a ticket for bonnaroo 2007 and then selling it a week or so before the fest. missed that awesome morello sit in.

i did see robert fripp join them at SDSU in 2001 but they didn't jam on a tool song per se so it was a bit different than the recent sit ins. mostly it's odd (and exciting) to hear 2 guitars on a tool song
