The music is still happening. The vocals are the issue, they lack fire. They should have gone with Kendrick and Kanye.
Joking of course, but now that I've typed it, I would kinda like to hear where that would have gone.

I love the direction Kendrick is heading. I could see him doing a guitar-heavy album at some point in his career. Kanye is a clown. Sorry, back on topic. Timmy C and Brad Wilk - They are one of my favorite rhythm sections of all time.

Mostly I agree... but I love seeing them play music again, I am a huge RATM fanboy... I started playing bass 25 odd years ago because of how cool Timmy C's basslines were... I reckon at some point (maybe one of your shitty political conventions) Zack will come out of hiding.... (wishful thinking probably)

I'm not sure what's up with B-Real's headwear?

Better than I was expected, but I still find the project to be largely uninspiring.

I agree...
I have enjoyed watching the band play the songs as well as Chuck and B-Real making the most of it. I would love to see Zack back with the band as much as anyone but I am not too precious when it comes to music. It is what it is...
My review of this album is something like "it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be, but not really all that great either". It'd be something like a 5 or 6/10

I thought it was pretty cool... as I have said many times before my expectations are always relatively low and I love the RATM guys so I was always going to enjoy hearing some new riffs.... Not ground breaking but fun to listen to....

It's fun, it doesn't hold up well to RATM records though.
