"Autism" is the new "gay". As in, a new insult that doesn't mean what it inherently means. Or maybe I just spend too much time on 4chan.

The idea of this was (yep, past tense) to discuss books and other written media that we have all likely read - to give direction to a discussion. Learn a little, and enjoy other's opinions.

I'm happy to call it quits at this point, because it doesn't look like it was going to work. Not necessarily a lofty idea, sure, but one that doesn't seem to be too popular already.

The good news is that there's nothing stopping any of us creating a thread to talk about any book at all, with no strings attached. So, I'll give that a go.

I imagine it's to inflate his ego.  I don't like it personally, but without removing the rich text options available to all of us there's no way to do that.

The fact that people don't like it makes me want to keep the yellow box even more.
