I think people forget the campy, corny, seemingly irreversible tragedy that enveloped the Batman movie franchise before Nolan raised the Dark Knight from the depths of nonsense. he did the impossible and made it super cool again. much like he did with Superman. Goyer, from the same camp, will do that with Godzilla. don't hate.

Tyson doesn't hate, he just enjoys the reaction. Of course it wasn't terrible. It may not be the best in the series, but it's not terrible by anyone's measure.

what's your reaction to Phoenix, most likely, being the main agitator in the next film?

*sigh*

Yeah, dude. He was on a troll rampage today. A trollpage. Trampage. Trollage.

Either way, to call "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES" terrible is grossly underestimating the mechanics of what makes a good movie. And while it wasn't close to "THE DARK KNIGHT", it was faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar from terrible.

I'm not trolling, did you even watch the film?

People in the background falling over for no reason during fights.

You're terrible. It was an excellent film.

Not my favourite, but still a damn good movie.

Then again, I think that a movie that has been critically derided as a snore-fest is the best thing I've seen (besides "THE FOUNTAIN", but that's a different argument) - so, I wouldn't listen to me.

At all, come to mention it.

Yeah, that ruined it for me. What's the point of making a "blockbuster movie" with terrible extras? Shit, they had the money. Why not spend it on a legit fight? Pay a bunch of hobos to beat the shit out of each other. Not people who want to "make it" in Hollyfuck but don't have what it takes.

I don't think there's a problem with the forum at all. Just a sudden influx of new users, and I've set up the forum to require their first post be approved prior to them having full access. Without this the spam count is far too high.

Yep, I totally get that and agree - that's necessary. I wasn't very clear in my post.

I was referring to moving users from the "spam" queue to the "non-spam" queue, and then having them move back. I doubt you are doing it. Therefore my comment. I can give you some examples, but let's just see if it happens again.

Not sure how it relates to the spam queue, but new users get put into a group called "New Users". Until they are removed from this group they will be automatically send to the moderation queue. Once removed from this group they can post normally.

So I used to have an account on here, but I can't remember my login name. So even though my e-mail is registered I can not recover my user name.

So I had to create a new one.

Name's Joe. Want to post a question about something Justin signed, but can't create a new topic in the tool thread.

Hi Joe!

We're all TOOL fans here (obviously), though the lack of a release in a while has caused a few of us to branch off into other areas of music appreciation. Strict discussion of TOOL songs, artwork, or themes per se have all but become extinct.

Still, the new tour will lead to some great reviews, no doubt, so stick around and get acquainted.
