Question about Justin's signature
Question about Justin's signature
So I bought the drum ring at the Boston Garden in 2012. Obviously I know 987 and its relation to Lateralus, but for the life of me I haven't been able to figure out what C.M.A.M.R. is for.
Any ideas?

Should I risk it and e-mail Blair?

Risk what? Email him if you want to.
I'd guess he wrote it just to mess with whoever bought it or it's an inside joke.

Re: Question about Justin's signature
yeah an inside joke seems reasonable... i have no clue what it could mean, also just a question : why did justin sign a drum ring?
Re: Question about Justin's signature
I've never seen it before. I expect it's an inside joke of some type.

Just incase anyone was wondering what the whole thing looks like.
I e-mailed Blair. We'll see if I get a response.
Any better way of e-mailing him than just clicking his name on the website?

Spent a ridiculous amount of the time with the guy at the framing place getting it exactly right. Good thing he was a Tool fan as well!

Re: Question about Justin's signature
After looking at the whole thing, awesome by the way, I'm beginning to suspect that Danny wrote that.
- It's in purple
- Danny seems to be the more cryptic one
- It seems somewhat evenly spaced between the 987 and Danny's sig.
My scenario.... Danny, using his trademark purple pen, signs first, since it's his drum head, with his name, C.M.A.M.R. then the 987. He then hands the drum head over to Justin. Justin, not being prepared, borrows DC's purple pen and being the jokester, squeezes his signature between DC''s cryptic magic spell thereby negating the evil spell DC was attempting to inflict on the owner of this drum head should he decide to sell it on Ebay.
Be thankful Justin saved your butt if you decide to sell it! Don't think you will but ya never know.

It's the first edition. After they reissued it, I bought two more and figured I'd rather have the first edition put away so nothing happened to it. Pretty awesome read.markuspoop wrote:Hey, I have that magazine.
