Tool "Musuem" Merchandise Thread

Post by iloveposters »

I thought I will create a thread that is dedicted to all the memorabilia news/updates etc in regards to what "merch"' will be adding to TOOL Bazaar in the near future.

Please post when items go onsale, which items, price, and if possible pictures and if items are already sold out. Also, maybe we can help each other out in the sense that say maybe I know someone wants a Salival I can pick an extra one up for a fellow member. Or maybe we can put requests that if others see a piece of merch that they have been dying to add to their collection but won't be on the internet for a day or 2, a fellow member would be able to help out! For example, I know I would REALLY like a signed Lateralus Vinyl, but won't be around May 6-8th, so if anyone see's an Lateralus Vinyl or particulary anything autographed please purchase it for me and I will reimburse money + shipping + whatever you would like me to add for doing me this favor.

Does that make sense??

So who is going to checking the Bazaar every 5 minutes? What are you looking forward to adding to your collection? Anyone willing to pick up merch for others or need helping gettig merch? Thanks!

Given the fact that the 2014 posters and some 2011 posters have surfaced on thr Bazaar I am pretty sure that the Bazaar will see will soon see an addition of autographed memoribilia, rare shirts etc like BMB mentioned. If the band does take one thing seriously it would have to be their merchandise sales, imo.

I think the 10,000 Days vinyl talk was fake. ("Already released 1,000 copies") Problem 8 too, probably. Only thing keeping me from saying that's complete bull is that he's been talking about it SO DAMN LONG that it might be true. Then again that might be the point.

As others have said, some of the other stuff mentioned is already in the shop. I don't doubt they found a bunch of Salivals, signed Lateralus, etc.

I'd be shocked if Blair does not get pubes, toe nails, and death threats in his snail mail.

I've been sending him unwashed spanners that I have used to anally pleasure myself for years, with nary a comment to be found about them.

Maybe merch put them in the museum. Shit's going in the bazaar signed by all 4 members for 499.99.

You can buy Salival on Amazon/ebay/etc for much less than that. Don't do it!

Stock isn't available on either.

It's a great price for signed Lateralus though.

Neither are linked in the shop though as far as I can see, so I suspect Kittaan (or someone else) hacked the code into the url to come up with those pages.

$250 for the signed Lateralus? OMG should I do it? Thats allllotttttt of money!!!!

$175 for the salival...no thanks...mine is in great condition already, I would consider if it if was autographed though with doodles!

OMG I dont know what to do about the Lateralus Vinyl....its basically half the price of a VIP experience which translates to big bucks....the fanboy in me is going nuts

Edit: When I click Add To Cart it tells me none are available. Is it sold out? What is going on?

Read my post a little more closely.

I'd expect signed Lateralus to go for closer to $500 on Ebay, so $250 is a bargain.

Interesting to say the least. The prices do sound pretty accurate if this is true, although I do feel it's somewhat wrong to sell the Lateralus Vinyl to TA members for $150 originally then sell them for $250 years later. If the 21st Opiate debacle taught me anything, it's that the interest in resale of autographed TOOL memorabilia has dwindled. Most people on ebay can't even sell their Opiates for face value.Could be a thing specifically with the Opiate anniversary though. Still, I'm looking to add to my collection and not make a profit. I guess I will be trying to check here and TA Bazaar every so often tonight in case these things go live.

Ooooh, can I play too?

OK, I just ordered both the "SALIVAL" and the "LATERALUS". I actually managed to find both signed, and got a significant discount for buying two items at the same time!

Pretty sure this isn't going to last, so get in there, everyone!
