Aye Messi. The man shows no emotion. Argentina had their chances. They could have won, but hats off to a determined German side. They deserve the cup. Overall best World Cup in recent memory. Back to club football....

Yay for Germany.

And good of the Dutch to win that game vs Brasil.

Very predictable result. I'd put that match somewhere in the middle of the World Cup in terms of entertainment. In fact, I'd go so far to say that it was pretty dry. It's what you'd expect from the teams, though.

Germany has been the only team that really deserved to win the Cup, so I'm happy with the result.

Onwards to the A League in a few months and the Asia Cup.

congratulations to Messi! maybe the greatest player in history to never win shit and get away with being called the greatest player in history. and Rinaldo for not playing any defense and doing crunches with a cock hanging over his head like those cartoons with the turtle and a carrot. ahh the world cup where nations are represented by players from other countries to play on teams from other countries.

It's been a long time coming and no surprise to most. FIFA is utterly corrupt, and nearly everyone knows it:

Yeah, me too. I mean, I never really watched it to begin with, but I am morally repulsed by the behavior exhibited by these people, and will not watch another game until they do something to make me interested in watching it. Until then, I'll continue to only consume those sports run by organizations with a strong sense of ethics like the NFL or NCAA.

Nike becomes suspected player in FIFA bribery scandal

And all this time I though Nike were the very model of an ethical company! The more you know...

Sepp Tic Blatter. Good riddance you old sack of garbage.

The only problem is that he has no intention of leaving FIFA. He'll need to be tossed out.

I'd love for AN African team to win it for once, however, i am pretty certain either Espana or Brazil can take it. Chile is that the game we'll undoubtedly win (if at all). Our angle is extremely usually Australian: that's, we tend to play well against groups we do not have an opportunity of beating, whereas being fucking lazy against groups we tend to assume we'll beat. The distinction there's the fucking Dutch. I hate that country, and our memoir appearance pretty smart against them. do not be shocked if we tend to obliterate them.
