Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Hey Junior, Out of curiosity, has there been any changes to the sound configuration since the 2019 tour? I was at the Denver show last night and the sound just seemed off. I was on the floor in front of the mix last night. In 2019, I was on the floor near stage right and it was one of the best sound...

Re: Australian politics thread

I've been pretty quiet on the boards lately, but I wanted to let all my Aussie friends know that I'm thinking of you all during these devastating fires. I honestly can't even fathom the amount of animals that have died and are suffering. I just lost my shit at work by clicking on something that I sh...

Re: Best of the '10's - Decade in Review Thread

Man, this really has been a great decade for music. I had to leave out a lot of great albums to come up with my top 12. 12.) Aphex Twin - Syro 11.) Fiona Apple - The Idler Wheel is....... 10.) Roger Waters - Is this the Life We Really Want? 9.) D'Angelo - Black Messiah 8.) Radiohead - A Moon Shaped ...

Re: Best Albums of 2019

So people failed to vote in the poll but posted here weren't included? (Obviously I guess) Because just off the top of my head Lightning Bolt, Clipping & Freddie Gibbs/Madlib got more than one vote in this thread alone. I've given up voting in the poll years ago when I saw Slipknot (and other s...

Re: Culling Voices

This is the best track to be put before 7empest and after Descending. I like how personal it is, especially after the comments Maynard made about signing 10k live. Wonder if they will perform this live for the same reason. I'd be shocked if this doesn't get played live. It's too good not to be play...

@Kittaan - Don't you dare point that fatty finger at me?

@Snazzle - This song fucks. Pneuma is a very close second. It's a tight race with all the songs at this moment. That's a wonderful thing.

Re: Culling Voices

Unpopular opinion I'm sure, but Culling Voices is probably my favorite song after 3 listens. I love the entire record, but THIS song grows every time I listen to it. The way Maynard sings "psychopathy" is ironically beautiful. It's the one song on the album that doesn't sound anything like...
