Re: General Tour Discussion Thread
I'm not blown away by it as a closer. I think it's chosen mostly because it suits the confetti a little better (I'm no huge fan of the confetti either) You very well may be right.. If the band is deciding on closing songs based on confetti, I think its time for them to re-evaluate their decision ma...

Re: General Tour Discussion Thread
It's obviously the doing of Boss' avatar. Anyhoo, I can truly say that I do not know what to expect from the next two shows. Although, I am aware of the consensus of this being the 10kdaystour pt.8 it will still be the first live Tool I have ever experienced. Any insight? Enjoy! Being that it's you...

Re: General Tour Discussion Thread
Perfectly understandable and I even agree with most of it. But take it to the Grudge thread. Glad at least one person agrees with me lol. Well, at least with MOST of it anyway. If I may ask, what in particular do you not agree with? Just wondering, I'd like to hear more of your thoughts on the subj...

Re: General Tour Discussion Thread
REALLY surprised that so many of you have such positive reviews from this tour.. Vegas was my 13th Tool show. I've seen them play epic gigs at Red Rocks, Radio City, intimate 10k days mini tour, etc etc. Always been mindblowing. The ONLY redeeming factors from the Vegas show was Lateralus and the ep...

^that, sir, is one fine avatar Why thank you good sir. Bob Ross is legendary. That part of Utah is very beautiful. Makes you appreciate the finer things on this planet. We get caught up In all the bullshit we tend to forget true beauty. There are similar spots in Western Australia that have made me...

Re: General Tour Discussion Thread
Arches National Park (Moab) Utah is, by far, one of the most spectacular, mesmerizing places in the U.S.

Ticketmaster was absolutely brutal this morning.
Managed to eventually get some pretty sweet tickets, but still. Holy fuck.

Re: General Tour Discussion Thread
I definitely would love to hear all those. Plus Jimmy. It would follow the pattern they started last year. Still, I kind of doubt it though. Indeed. 2010 they opened up with Third Eye. 2012 they opened with Hooker With A Penis. So, if they follow that pattern, another Aenima song to open. Jimmy is ...

Re: How will Tool approach the design of the new album?
Personally, I thought the 10,000 days design was annoying, uninspired, and pretty lame.
As much as I love Alex Greys art, I'm hoping they part ways with that whole visual theme this time around.

Long story short but..
I wound up with an extra pair. Lower level Section 118.
Selling for UNDER FACE VALUE. Fuck it, I'll go $160 for the pair. I paid $205 on ticketmaster. Let me know!
