Re: The Grudge (WARNING: 26 years to #6?)
Cassettes are making a come back though :? good for nostalgia but not much else. Like that junk puscifer cassette player you could buy with the tape or whatever. In my opinion that album deserves to be on cassette. im not sure i know what that means, haha but im pretty sure i agree with you on that...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
Oh boy. No see, what you do is take Wings parts 1 and 2 and you make slices in the audio track at each mark for the first 7 primes. Next you take Vigniti Tres, stretch the audio by a factor of 23, the slice that 7 times. Finally you put part 2 first and intercut the 7 Vigniti Tres sections into Win...

Which is not something I'm holding against you, it takes a certain kind of person to be persistent and (perhaps fanatically) dedicated to actually trying to see if the mystery of Fear Inoculum can be understood. Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
Thank God it's over the top! Tool's the only band that would go to such lengths in their compositions, and it makes their music so much more valuable and layered. Lateralus and 10,000 Days almost certainly are, on 1 level (I just say that because everything that Tool does is multi-layered) mapped o...

Re: Fear Inoculum
I agree over all that this album was rushed in terms of production. There are several mistakes on the drum track throughout the album, but the worst thing is the overall sound. It still sounds good, but it isn't a consistent experience. Sometimes there is distortion, sometimes the mix gets really c...

"You should have bought more tickets and travelled across state and country borders if you wanted the good show."
Yea, and if the the setlist works one night, it works every night barring some operational issues causing delay.

For every whining cunt complaining about this tours set list Jesus H Christ, we've gotten the same complaints for 13 years now and now they are finally touring a new album you complain about the new tracks they don't play? Like I said before the tour, they are going to treat these new songs like po...

After dwelling in it for a week and a half, as great as the VIP ticket was, as great as the VIP and venue staff were and how nice it was to meet them/talk, as nice as people I met were, as good as the seat and show was... the fact that Tool is rotating out new songs simply to play the Pot and Extend...

Re: The Grudge (WARNING: It Hapenned!!)
Dick move to release something like Tempest and not perform it. Probably the stupidest thing this band has ever done. I'd rather see a shorter show of just new songs.

Didn't see this posted here. Danny uses the Ludwig kit for some of the Fear Inoculum track as well.
