ME1 is one of my favourite games of all time.
The story and the shooty bits are great, but the Mako sections are beyond boring

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Yep, it's pretty clear these were never meant to be affordable, which if fine with me. I'll be keep to look at getting a cheaper model, if/when that ever happens

I'm down with revisiting these games (well at least #2)
Never played none of them, so may be I'll give it a try
ME1 is good, but has some quite tedious sections
ME2 has the best story and gameplay
ME3 is kinda like ME2.5, but with a story that's not as interesting

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

What baffles me is these criminals that do this. What is someone going to do with 13 of these? Do these stupid ass thieves think they can sell these on Ebay or Reverb without getting caught? Given how much they are, I suspect there will be plenty of Tool fans willing to buy them no questions asked.

Re: New Music Thread

These SOAD songs are as underwhelming as expected. In fact despite Daron featuring too much, I'd go as far to say his last Scars on Broadway album has better tracks

Re: Mike Patton - Tomahawk, Fantomas, FNM, Mr Bungle, etc

The album was ok, more or less what was promised, but I mostly find the music uninteresting. It's not the Mr Bungle we know and love, nor was it ever expected to be. As far as thrash albums go, it's not particularly great or innovative, but listening to Patton in front of a metal band is kinda fun r...

It's got to be better than the new Mr Bungle album, downloading now
Puscifer is about a 5/10, Bungle about a 6

Re: Random Puscifer Social Media thread

I wasn't a massive fan of the two tracks released so far, and the album hasn't done much to get me more into it. Maybe it's a grower, but at this point I'd struggle to give it more than 5 out of 10. I quite like the way it sounds for the most part, but the songwriting feels lacking to me.

I'd down with the fridge!

Both consoles look pretty large, and weirdly shaped. I think I'm more of a fan of the utilitarian Xbox rather than the Neo futuristic PS5. I guess if I had a more clean, white TV cabinet it might work better

Re: Video game news

Not something they'd choose to do lightly I expect. As I've said before I'm content to play it whenever it's released - that they keep delaying it doesn't really bother me, as long as the end result are good. The reasons for delay seem entirely justifiable to me.

TISM have a couple of releases coming out, including a live album and this: Why pay for multiple TISM albums in vinyl format when you can buy only one? The TISM Omni-Album is an all-purpose album cover containing liner notes, artworks and song listings that are suitable for all six TISM album releas...

Re: Mike Patton - Tomahawk, Fantomas, FNM, Mr Bungle, etc

I don't hate the track, but it sounds like it just may as well be a Dead Cross album a this point. I'm curious as to how the whole album will sound, but it's pretty clear it's not the Mr Bungle of old (nor are they really pretending it is)
