Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

I saw EtE songs played live before the album dropped, so once it did, my ears were already all warmed up and ready to receive. Those songs sound really big live. People complain about how clean the album sounds and think it's overproduced, but I think that is just how the songs are because they soun...

So is Rush. :| Nah man, Rush is pure heart and soul. They walked probably the most righteous path of any band ever. Wholesome and probably the only band I can think of that has been around since the 70's and has regularly put out quality album after quality album for decades and decades and never g...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Reading these last few posts re: APC albums and personal ratings brought up an old question / conversation I’ve had with a number of folks over the years. How much does repeat, active listening influence your opinion of an album? Taking into account subjective vs objective, can you “make” yourself ...

Re: Tool - is this their last album?

Yeah, Mog, you are right most of the time. Like you were right about Tool not having what it takes to outdo their previous work. And how you were right about this new record not even coming at all. You gave up on Tool several years and then you came back to admit you were wrong about Tool being irr...

Re: The new album is NOT not NoT called "Chöd"

They both have a couple live tracks and the Netherlands version of Sober has Tales from the Dark Side which has eight live tracks, so I was wrong about Salival potentially leading directly into new album if you include these. On the Sober single, ther...
