<t>I think Blair's post clearly insinuated that the band has moved jamming/writing/arranging sessions to Hawaii. He did mention some other time that they had previously considered going somewhere exotic to inspire them while writing. <br/> <br/> In my opinion, this isn't s a good sign. This kind of ...

<t>@Mog: I agree to an extent. I don't think "The Pot" sucks. It's a pretty cool song in my opinion, but his voice has definitely changed. He does weird techniques now to preserve his voice, but it ends up sounding bad live because he's not really going for it. Even on 10,000 Days the vocals were ve...

<t>I have listened to one of this band's other albums and they're a good band who write some groovy songs. Problem is, they take no risks and just kind of do the same thing over and over a lot. It doesn't really move me on any emotional level but it's good tunes.<br/> <br/>  <br/> <br/> Not that it ...

<r>@Children: Not so much whining, just kind of marveling at how a band of this caliber could actually be that lazy! I mean you have to admit it's kind of unbelievable. <br/> <br/> Also from an interview with Maynard posted today: <br/> <URL url="http://www.tonedeaf.com.au/features/interviews/267488...

<t>Some of you guys had some weight against Mog's impatience before...now...he's beyond right in his judgement. These guys haven't put out something as a band in 7 years. 7 years! Nothing! <br/> <br/> Not an album, a b-side/live release, a song, a video and yet they do keep leading people on through...

<t>Not well enough to lead a band. His only documented bass playing is TexANS which is one string 3-chord punk riffs. And then guitar playing at Lateralus era shows 2001-2002, where no one could ever confirm if he was actually playing/amplified. His "piano playing" is also hitting a key here or ther...

<t>I'm kinda just being contrary and (trying to be) funny, but you just have to admit that Puscifer is kind of stupid. I mean...Maynard doesn't write much music or play an instrument himself, yet he's the one dictating what these people in the band are supposed to do/write, it's kind of ridiculous.<...

<t>I think in general it's just difficult for some hardcore Tool/Maynard fans to get over the fact that Puscifer sucks. The other work he's been involved with all has been really great and amazing (save for the get-out-of-contract "eMotive" bullshit) so it's hard for hardcore fans to admit that Pusc...

Based on what I've heard on YouTube/Children of Saturn I really like it. If there were a vinyl option I would totally pick up a copy. I don't even have a CD player in my house besides the computer these days lol

<t>@Children, you are way off-base. Puscifer/Maynard isn't good anymore - people need to face this fact. No matter how great an artist' track record is (Fuck! Look at Metallica with those amazing early albums) at some point they get old, wealthy, lose touch or all three at once and jump the shark. <...

As far as Tool covering No Quarter...yea it didn't need to be done. But it does actually kick ass, so that helps. This Queen cover by Puscifer sucks and Puscifer isn't a real band - it's hired guns carrying out Maynard's half-baked ideas.
