Welp, Brooklyn show is at Barclay’s. That Atlantic City show is going to be sick. 10,000 seat capacity.

I hope that Brooklyn show is at the King’s Theater. Both Barclays and Kings are available that night.

Descending is so fucking good. It’s about Global Warming, right? Also really enjoying Culling Voices, which is about political discourse and social media, right?

Re: Fear Inoculum

The “long time coming” line is so cathartic. as is the opening line "Immunity long overdue" 100% agree. The opening line is so centering. But they take you through many moods before the exit. Even after the long time coming line they do that weird dark key change. The solo works through s...

Re: The Grudge (WARNING: It's HAPPENNING!!!)

I feel like Triad was put at the end of Lateralus to kind of overwhelm the senses and then fade out. Great way to end an album. Like a sonic jerk-off if you will.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Favorite memory of a D/R/T live performance was when I first heard it August 11th, 2001. Disposition was nearing its end with Danny doing his slow down tempo tom bit, and there is this drunk fan doing his whole “Toooooooooooooool, fucking Tooooooooool” bit from the peanut gallery, and MJK cuts in wi...

Re: The Grudge (WARNING: It's HAPPENNING!!!)

Am I a little sad that Hellboy has deemed me a “has been” in my fourth eye profile. Yes. Am I heartened that I may once have been relevant. Indeed. Maybe someday I will be again.

And honestly. This album roll out is ridiculously haphazard for one of the most anticipated albums of the last 20 years.

Re: Fear Inoculum

As a viniculturist you also have to think MJK meant inoculum in the agricultural sense. Microbial inoculants are used to promote systemic acquired resistance to pathogens and fungi in many flowering plants. Introduce a little fear into the substratum to keep fear from overpowering a systemic organis...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

I did not expect the fourth eye forum to need a thread dedicated to America’s greatest living actor John Goodman, but here we are.

Super pumped about whatever news we get today. It will probably include news about the new Puscifer album, right?

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

It clearly says CD with the fish in the middle. The text is new-age hieroglyphics, the Art lately has been evocative of imperial Rome (the Adi Granov Roman bust with skeleton was a replica of a bronze of Hadrian found at a Roman military archaeological site in Israel), invincible mentions Caligula. ...

Re: Tool - Nothin But Love

I came here to talk about invincible, but let’s get some Things out of the way first. I fucking love aenima as an opener. They somehow made it into a punk rock song a la sedated but let Danny be Danny. The pot sounds fantastic and MJK really sets the scene for the rest of the band. Parabol(a) is sti...
