limp bizkit has some really cool and well crafted songs musically on chocolate starfish album, it's a classic from the numetal era
the musicians in that group are top notch (far from genius though)

maybe one of the reasons besides cash is that the four of them can be together, without their families for a longer period of time, they can get into the Tool mindset, nurturing ideas and concepts together etc
