It was one of the absolute highlights of my US trip this musical. The real giggle was the bloke and I laughing when the rest of the audience was often silent.

Re: Maynard James Keenan

If "blame" is in reference to the album, how can it possibly be any more out in the open that he's the least of the holdups? I mean, that part is just settled basically. As for him "being a dick," and this isn't directed squarely at Mog because there are a LOT of fans that feel ...

Re: Walking out my front door.

Twas a massive weekend hence why I am getting around to post my review of Saturday evening just now. The evening started out with AMODERNDEATH and as surprised as I am to hear myself say this, the thing I most enjoyed about this band was the growly vocal. The music was a little repetitious after a w...

Present  I've always been a shirt and tie type of person. I've never had to do it but the fact is it's company policy to apply online, most managers don't handle recruitment or they use agencies to send the right fit. Wearing a bikini will not necessarily make you into a calendar girl. Sure w...

Yes I have done that many times. At the shittiest jobs as well And I did it over and over and over and fuck the kid at the counter, speak to the supervisor, manager, owner. Persist, annoy, do what you gotta do you know what I mean? I am a foreigner in this country and have not been unemployed for o...

Re: Australian politics thread

Youth unemployment is double the national average, I'd say they want one but there just isn't any. But I'm over 30 so why should I give a fuck YOLO It's mostly double because kids of today are lazy and self-entitled, rather than a real lack of work. Yes there is much truth in that. Kids are staying...

Re: Australian politics thread

I'm ok Joe, provided the kids don't remain jobless until 30, because it's parents that are providing that welfare these days. Higher educations costs are a retrograde step but I'm not particularly upset that people with the sniffles pay to see a doctor although I would exempt the elderly. Not sure t...

Re: The Grudge (WARNING: contains Salty Mog™)

What are the chances that a psychotic, enraged TOOL fan/FE member hunts one of the members down (The 'Nard) and shoots them? Or at least kidnaps them and forces them to record music? If I know TOOL fans ( and I'd like to think that I do), I think that this is a disturbingly likely scenario. Now, it...

Re: The Grudge (WARNING: contains Salty Mog™)

So your comparing your cunt to the universe now? That's a rather large comparison, I would have said a galaxy. Surprised you didn't say it's a sun, as everything should revolve around it correct? It was a cautionary tale dear boy because I care. I was making no personal claims. By the way prior to ...

I read with a black background and white text. Made a huge difference to the brightness issues. Also, it's not too hard avoiding dropping a tablet in the water at the beach, while sober anyway. Interesting idea. Can I do that on my computer? I am a model of sobriety as well you know. What about the...

I would suggest you get a tablet or an e-reader. There are online libraries where you can digitally borrow, or you can torrent ebooks - which is fundamentally the same thing as a library in my eyes. EDIT: I actually read all my books on my phone now. A five inch screen and a good app (e.g. UB Reade...

Interesting article. Please leave the racism for other forums though. Fucked if I'm working until 70 just so middle class people can have more babies. I totally agree, this idea is fraught with inequity especially with regards to people who work in the more physically demanding jobs. We have detent...

It seems that Twelve Foot Ninja (see above) impressed on their US tour. They picked up "Best New Talent" at the Golden Gods Revolver awards. Nice to see you Yankies supporting some Aussie product!
