I wonder if they've thought about sending a cease and desist to the artist with the name "Tool" on Spotify. They're surely getting a healthy amount of plays from people looking for the actual Tool.

I am going to be quite displeased if when I see them in May at a festival that I really did not want to go to and they don't play something new.

I don't know what I'm more eagerly awaiting, an announcement regarding the Mueller report or the new Tool album.

I caught the show last night in Charlotte. Good performance, and overall a good setlist but could have done without 3 Libras remix, Thx 4 the Fish, & Hourglass. I noticed quite a few empty seats around the arena. Seems to be the trend?

The idea of MJK doing something like this is incongruous with the man who performed at a RAINN benefit alongside Tori Amos, but then again he wouldn't be the first guy who was found to just be paying lip service while secretly behaving in a predatory way.

Regarding Death Grips album, any idea what song(s) Justin plays on?

I really like St. Vincent. It's kinda funny she didn't really know the song name, but I rarely ever know song titles either unless I'm particularly obsessed with a band.

i think i've finally become disillusioned.

I'm debating cancelling my pre-order based on this and the vocoder song(s). If the album was more along the lines of the Doomed, Disillusioned, and Talk Talk I'd still feel OK about owning it but yeesh.

Sometimes I can't tell if people know Emotive was a covers album. They certainly judge it like it was an album of original APC music. To me, it was like a bonus release full of cool re-imaginings. And thematically it felt very appropriate at the time of its release.
