Adam wants to tour more after this mini tour in early 2016 but says he wants to get the record done first. So thats good news.

Similar to the video thread we already have; does anyone know of a good source for some decent (high resolution! - something one could use a smartphone wallpaper for instance) quality photos of tool performing live / close up shots of the different band members? google results are pretty frustrating...

on the other hand, maynard repeatedly stated that if there is something new on the tool front we will be the first to know.....

this whole thing is even headlining german music press. so I guess we will hear something more from adam or blair soon...if not....well then maybe they ARE in the studio and mjk was just making fun.

anyone else thinks that the recording quality of the three night album performances is quite bad? those sound extremely dull to me. stone and echo sounds much better, however i think it has been mastered a little bit too loud...as usual nowadays... -.-

Maynard sounds a little different on this one, I agree. Yet I believe this was on purpose. Maybe he decided to go with a more natural way and get rid of all the voice-post-processing so that he can keep up with the song when he performs it live on stage. The live versions actually sound equally well...

and hell...they all sound terrible!
