I think that guy's over exaggerating a bit.  Just because the PS4 will have 8GB of RAM doesn't mean it will have better performance than a PC, and saying it'll last for years is funny.  Hell, mine's already better than the PS4.

I'm a know-it-all musician because I can push a button on my DJ toy while pointing at the crowd and talking to hot chicks.

I have no desire to get a PS4.  My PS3 is one of the first ones, so I have backwards compatibility.  Getting rid of that was one of their biggest mistakes.  My PC handles all the new games I want to play just fine.
