hey, how about this one:

EULOGY Tool cover by Nick Lee Band feat. 14 yr old Katee Lee with killer extended intro
I thought they did a decent job, but were not prepared - most definitely not the singer. She had a great voice and good delivery, but she was clearly nowhere near ready to get up on stage. I'd like to see her with some experience under her belt and with lyrics memorized. She's got potential. The band was pretty decent too.

That was awful before (look up there in the thread bro) and it's even worse the second time.

Not a good one, either.

That is a Chet Zar advertisement.

That's surprising. And I didn't hate it. Kinda weird inflections at points, but that might be a language thing. He can definitely sing.

Hi.

This is a video I made. It's a cover of Jambi which I recorded a while back in a recording studio I own and run. I am now in a blues band; and did this cover to keep my rock guitar playing techniques up to scratch - and for fun. Had I received more interest, I'd have considered making a couple more, but so far it hasn't had much feedback.

I thought I'd share with you all incase some of you here are interested.

Regards,
Steve.

Good job man. Looks like a nice studio.
Was I hearing extra long echo/reverb on the guitar solo?

Have a look at the description section of the youtube video for full audio and equipment specs. It is also noted there that my video suffers slight sync issues in and around the solo. Sorry about that. Thanks for listening.

mindspace, sounds great! Only recommendation I would have is to work on muting the higher strings when playing the main rolling riff with palm mutes (such as around 3:10 or so). You sound really good though, especially during the solo, despite the syncing issues. Would really like to see anything more from you :) Welcome to FE!

Yea good point. I always get over excited and make a recording as soon as I've it all learnt, rather than waiting to practice it for a while first to get the phrasing and technique perfected. Nice pointer to keep in mind though - cheers for that. :)

That's very cool on the piano, I love to watch people play Tool piano covers but that's one of the more advanced ones I've seen. She also has Vicarious, The Grudge and H. posted too. Even cooler, if you visit her website and "donate" you can acquire sheet music which she's written herself for these arrangements... pretty awesome.
