For those who don't want to read it I'll sum the whole colum up for you.. His name is Marnard, he lives in Arizona, he makes wine and doesn't like racket ball.

 His name is Marnard

You might want to recheck your facts.

I'll allow it.

Thanks for the summation. I really don't have any plans to read any more of his columns unless someone can convince me otherwise . . .

Yea you all aren't missing much. Thought the last few had gotten better but this one was very "meh".

This one had a decent point. I didn't really care about it, but I could see how it could be interesting to people interested in Arizona's budding wine-trade.

The newest one is up and it was revealed to be the last one. I was not a big fan of these but this one was pretty entertaining. Nothing mind blowing but its good, provided you can overlook the silliness in it.

I'm on my phone so I've no idea how to post a link.

With a tip of the cap to the man, we bid Maynard James Keenan adieu. This is MJK's final column for Up on the Sun, as he's devoting 2013 to more music and more wine

 Tool perhaps?

Any chance he got fired?

Possible I guess, but I imagine there was just a contract in place and it hasn't been renewed by either the website or the author.  Either way no huge loss.  I don't really need Maynard to talk about Tool, but I would have rather he'd touch on some more interesting topics rather than rambling like Blair.

I wonder if he's read anything by Julian Cope. That dude is a brilliant writer.

Went out with a whimper, I think. In my opinion the most interesting information/musing put forth by these columns was on the continuing growth of the Arizona wine industry, I think that's great.

That line about the Christopher Reeves movie gave me a chuckle, which is admittedly more than any other article has done before.

It reminds me of that Superman film, Somewhere in Time.

That wine one was potentially quite interesting, but to be honest I found it a little short and half assed.

Much like the 'Nard himself, eh.

Oh well.  Sometimes reading the comments-section was entertaining.
