That's right, she is universally loved on Fourtheye. Tyson doesn't make a move without consulting the great and powerful Wizard of Liz. Just ask him.

I think you know that I know what you are saying but I don't think you knew that I knew that you knew that he knew what you said.

My condolences to anyone who has been waiting patiently for a new Tool album to arrive this year.

Maybe you should start following Swans or Godflesh instead.

Consultations accepted, of course.
Thank you.

As summer is finally here,
I will now focus my entire energies on making bank and enjoying some baseball.

Maybe even take in a concert in ATL...wonder what 'scoming up?

In other words, I have no time for TOOL
if TOOL has no time for me.

Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, Jones.
Having kids....
for shame....
at your age....
maybe I should do the same?

Maybe you put out a new album and gee,
I just don't have time in my life
for your fucking band anymore!
Sorry!
You had plenty of time!
Too late!
Can't buy your fucking record now can I?!?!
Didn't think that one through now did you?
Ha!
I'm gonna go have a kid just to prove a point!

That'll learn 'em.

What is it with giving Cal shit? He is frustrated as hell with Tool but still loves the band. Naturally he going to express both sentiments. Cal certainly isn't trying to be like me. We share some similar musical tastes but are very different people. Cal is also a much nicer person than I am.

I fucking hate Tool but ripping into them and Tool fans in general every fourth post has caused tension and irritation, which I enjoy with dipshit members like Children, but serves to only distance myself from the members that I do like and respect. Because of that I have shut the Fuck up on the subject for the most part.

That said it would be absurd to generalize anyone expressing displeasure with Tool as "being like Mog". I am not the face of some Tool hate movement. Many people feel the way I do about Tool at this point, but compared to the amount of people who don't mind the delays and still love the band we are a blip on the radar, particularly around here.

I was privy to some "news". So I shared it. Turned out to be nothing. As is so often the case.

And yes I am still as frustrated as anyone here regarding lack of substantial progress.

The days turn into weeks turn into months, turn into years.

Still nothing.

No need to rip on a band just because they don't release albums when you want them to.

I'd argue it's a pretty damn good reason, when you think about it.

Fair enough Mog. I agree with everything you said. It was a generalization on my part.

I too am just a frustrated tool fan. I just want to hear some new music!!

Is this the logical conclusion of music as an art form? Where could it possibly go after this? Does this represent the human brain's highest capacity to create art? How could the formula of music ever improve beyond this point? Since there is nowhere to go after this, no way to ever top this, no way to surpass this in any way should every band, every musician just give up at this point? What human being could possibly add anything more to the concept of music after this album? Why would you even try? How could you even try? What could you possibly do to add innovation after this has been released? Even after our biological evolution has ended, even after we have mastered transhumanism, even after the universe has become one living, thinking AI with every single atom, all 10^82 of them being used to create something with more artistic value than this album, could it be done? I think not. I think there is nowhere to progress in music. I think we have reached the end. There is no point in trying to create music anymore. There is no point in trying to search for music anymore because this is the greatest it can get. Humanity has created its greatest achievement.
