I seriously doubt a lawsuit over unpaid artwork is the sole reason for the 8 year lay off.

I'm thinking they are NOWHERE near finished with the album and are presently stuck in another rut . So they've blown up this legal mumbo jumbo as a means to satiate the fans a little -give them something to chew on while they try and overcome another massive bout of writer's block.

A shame because this time last year it seemed like it was finally getting close to becoming realized - it was August last year when it was announced that Maynard had begun his part in things.

Ten songs - one done and one "pretty much there". Hopefully there are around 3 or 4 that are close to being sent to Maynard to finish up - but I'm not crossing my fingers.

Still don't expect to hold a copy in my hands until Christmas next year.

I've been saying that for awhile while everyone else complained, my point was he knew about the lawsuit when having those Q & A's but didn't say a god damn thing to the face of his fans. Fans that just paid him $500 to get half truths.
