Well that's just rude. The vinyl is incoming.

Vinyl is lame, quit living in the past.

a lot of vinyl can sound like sh#t anyway. overrated in this current trend. once the loudness wars ends (if it ever does but it sorta is ?) maybe people will realize mastering/compression is what matters the most....but its not on vinyl.

Vinyl is more about the experience then the fidelity for me. There's no doubt a suitable high definition digital track is superior.

i was being a bit cynical. thats true. it has its vibe. it can have a nice feel to it in sound. its just not enough for me to bother but i got my own deal with stuff i like. older cds sound better then remastered ones often times. i had the remastered version of Moving Pictures by Rush on CD and the original CD. i cranked it in my car years ago and the original was nicer on the ears when you turned it up. the compression on the remaster takes away from the dynamics. The original felt better!

They should really settle down with the set list changes, us Tool fans want a stock standard set list each night, no one likes surprises!

So if I'm going to BOTH Sydney shows here in February and they don't play 7empest at either one, do I have any right to complain? That would kinda suck... especially if they played it two nights later up in Brisbane and we never saw it/heard it :)

Any complaints on the shows? Looks like you heard most of the album (minus the segues and the most underrated song Culling Voices)

Remember back in 2010 when unsigned posters were $25 and signed were $100? Good times.

Two shows in LA last year, and they didn't play Descending either night.

Now that they're playing 7empest, and dropping Descending when it's played, it looks like I'm going to be missing out on hearing one these live...unless I somehow manage to catch multiple shows back to back to back.

First world problems...
