6:12 to 6:33 gives me the chills every single time I listen to it.

I will never forget hearing that live in 2010 on opening night in New Orleans. After two years straight or whatever it was of the "dreaded setlist" that Hellboy made those shirts of (I enjoyed all those shows, but whatever...), they came out with Third Eye and they could have left the stage right then and I would've been ecstatic. But then they launched into Eon Blue two songs later and... wow. That crowd that night with this song in such an intimate venue was one of the most overwhelming and powerful moments of live music I've ever experienced.

I listened to Intermission / Jimmy on my iPod last night.

In my room, in the dark.

Then I listened to the new Triptykon.

I'm listening to the entire album of "LATERALUS" right now, while drinking more than a few beers. Just had a pearler with the mrs. And yet.

And yet.

WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK.

This album is still - still - astounding.

I'm in heaven.

I heard it today too. Absolute monster of an album.

"Disposition" always manages to make me feel very much at peace.

That may be corny but it's true. I absolutely adore that song.

My least favourite song is owning my ears right now.

Holy fuck me in the nose, how did they do it?!

What an incredible album.

No joke, dudes and dudettes (I guess): Best album of all time. It's why I'm here. Love it.

Might even fuck up "AENIMA" after it.

God I love this band.

My number 2 son passed away from cancer last year he was almost 9... Lateralus, particularly Parabol/Parabola are very soothing songs when I get down... "All this pain is an illusion"... That album is awesome...

Didn't mean it as a downer, just one of the many reasons why Lateralus is on in heavy repeat when I drive to and from work etc...

Oh my God, brother. I am devastated to hear that, as we all are. I shall talk for all of us when I say that I am deeply sorry for your loss. Few, if any, of us know your pain.

Not sure what to say, man. Please take what you can from life, in terms of the positive. TOOL's music for one, and this community for another (trust me, there are actually some positive people here ;) )

Feel free to chat about your experience and your thoughts about anything here. We're kind of dicks sometimes, but there are a few good ones.

Except Ravenpig. That guy is a pain in the ass.

Peace, man. I hope things are all good in your world.

Cheers guys, I appreciate it... I am in a really good place (most of the time), and I am well aware of the foibles of interweb forums... I have listened to TOOL for a long time (I am almost an old man (fuck that I am not that old)) and when I needed it most I found it incredibly calming and it provided me with the ability to keep my shit together.... Which I think is remarkable... I am also ploughing through the Coopers reds (sparkling ale) at the moment....
