^That was neat, especially the early videos.

I've also haven't listen to any Tool music for close to a year now (9/17/2014 was the last day I believe), and it was strange hearing it again.

Just waiting for a new album and then I'll dive back in.
So Long, and Thanks for All the Tool.

Only time I listen to Tool nowadays is when I occasionally play some Tool on my midnight radio gig. About a fortnight ago I played 4 degrees - only the second time in 6 years that I've played a track off Undertow.

Other than that, I think I listened to Aenima when I bought a new car maybe two months ago. Took it for a drive on the first night and played some Tool.

But apart from that - zip.

I listen to TOOL still pretty regularly on my drive to work, about a 70 km round trip... At least once a week I play one of the albums...

I stopped listening to tool regularly about 6 years ago. And most music about 3 years ago. I even stopped playing until recently. Now I'm getting more into all of it again, but I'm not that interested in tool. At least, not in the way I was. I'm interested in a new release! Overall, I'm going back into jazz oriented stuff, folk stuff, and prog rock.

I still listen to Tool pretty regularly. Though it's been a few months since I've been cycling on Down, Suns of the Tundra, Russian Circles, Black Sabbath & Rodrigo y Gabriela for the last while. Tool always come back around though.

How much can you listen to them after you've heard every song 10,000 times? Definitely not on a daily basis anymore, at least for me that's the case. It's like trying to get high after you've smoked weed every hour of every day for 10 years. It just doesn't work. I don't smoke weed anymore at all. But I still listen to tool occasionally. I think that says something about their potency.

To be honest, most of the time I listen to music on shuffle. Tool probably comes up a few times a week.

I take breaks and then binge on just about any favorite artist I have. I always thought that's more or less human nature.

So, last question... what's up with the new Tool record?
I write lyrics and melodies to music. If I don't have music, I can't.

King troll speaks! Is he trolling us? Is he stumping (pumping) for Trump 16'? It looks like AZ has turned the edgy rockstar into a sad old man whining about "kids these days". I can say what I want to, old man. Even if I'm not serious. Maybe he just gets off on shocking the chakras of little children? MJK will be long dead before US cities become unsustainable wastelands full of zombies. If the West truly faces such catastrophic climate change, then the Verde Valley will not be spared. The Columbia river, the Susquehanna and the Hudson maybe, but certainly not the Verde. Also, who will afford to buy all that wine if urban intellectuals are forced to scavenge in the American wilderness....? Whatever, I like the new song. Rock out.
