I know they updated the online store/Toolarmy links back in the summer - my deal is that I remember my Toolarmy username, but have no clue what the password was, or what the e-mail address associated with the account was. The last time I logged onto Toolarmy was probably April 2006, and being that I don't even know what the e-mail was, I'd have to sign up all over again.

Have there been any actual updates or changes to Toolarmy? I think I saw that they charge an annual fee now, and was just wondering if anything's actually changed to make it worthwhile, not only paying for it again, but doing so once a year. Is the site at least functional again?

Changes appear to be on the cards, but so far it seems only the store has been changed. The rest of Toolarmy is still there (and for the most part broken)

That's what I figured, since I haven't seen any discussion about any new features or anything.

Wondering what you were referring to. I finished the book last night, and overall didn't find anything to be of any real interest.

He read out his dream, about seeing/floating over (I can't really remember) an area of Arizona. I didn't realize it was inspiration for a certain Tool song.

That's ^ hilarious, though I assume unintentionally.

Also, congrats Adam & family <3. If there was ever a legitimate reason to lose steam on releasing an album, it's the birth of a beautiful child. Look forward to hearing/ seeing how this step in life touches your art.

TL;DR - Blair, tell Adam congrats.

Blair may not even know yet - I don't think he's much of a social media guy.

Artist Korin Faught and Tool Guitarist Adam Jones Let Us Inside Their Space (VIDEO)

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2016 AT 6:12 A.M. BY STEVE APPLEFORD

Painter Korin Faught and musician Adam Jones live in a home filled with art and toys. It rests on a hillside overlooking the Malibu shore, and is where Faught paints large canvases of women that feel soft and romantic on the surface, while suggesting undertones of tension and despair. Jones is her husband, best known as guitarist and video director for the multi-platinum prog rock band Tool.

I'll bet it does.

I bet there's a sweet statue of something from Planet of the Apes there, too.

Damn shame the photo doesn't pan out to show the 10 foot, 30 person hookah next to it.

Haven't checked this out yet, but looks like there might be some new stuff here from the Undertow sessions via Sylvia Massey:

Not sure if anyone saw it but I believe it was Kat posted on facebook an interview Maynard did with Forbes that basically just says he wishes he knew how the new album was coming as well. He did make an interesting recommendation to the interviewer when the interviewer told him we was looking forward to the next three TOOL albums. Maynard suggested he buy some headphones and sit down and listen to all the puscifer albums in order then go back and listen to the EP's and he may find what he's looking for.

I like Puscifer, but I found Maynard's comment to go listen to them a bit strange.

I think Maynard is being somewhat evasive when it comes to where Tool are at, but that's not to say they're in a good place either. No doubt Maynard is in the dark in a lot of ways, but I think the implication from him that he doesn't know where the Tool album is at is misleading. I don't doubt that his frustration is real though.

Yes I agree. Just never heard him suggest such a thing as to listen to puscifer. Obviously he would benefit if everyone bought the albums and gave it a shot. Maybe a money shot even.
