once the grill is onion sparkled, do you then proceed to saute said onion(s) or have you just wasted an otherwise tasty onion?

And now to get back to the real matter at hand:

can the red onion be forever known from this day on as a stinkin' injin onion, and so on with brown, spanish, etc. or is that going a bit too far under our strict new 4E guidelines.

I, for one, would not be overly bothered if

You can use half or less of an onion to clean the grill, depending on the size of the grill. The rest you can wrap in foil paper, toss it on the charcoal, then after an hour or so you can take it out (heh), unwrap it (heh), put some lime and salt on it and you've got some oniony deliciousness.

Also, how the heck did I miss "honkey onions"?

The only "mystery" is when the world will see TOOL's next album.

Everything else is pretty much inconsequential.

EDIT: Wait, how the hell am -I- the only person on topic here?!
O love will you read the letters I will send to you.

I don't think any Tool-related thread has been on topic for months, akin to Blair's newsletters.

Have any of Blair's mysteries actually come to light and been revealed? Seems like he starts a rumor mystery and everyone speculates and then it slowly dies out and we never hear about it again.

really? you disagree with this? shocking. I dont know what exactly he calls them... off the top of my head there was the gold tickets obviously, something he referred to as "The Big Thing". The new Curveball. How about Problem 8. The european aenima that has something hidden in it. And im sure this isnt everything.... He has mentioned things of this nature multiple times...

Examples:
"Suppose I was to tell you that there is a Tool song – recorded in a studio – that hasn’t been heard except for by a handful of people, and that virtually no one outside of the band (and a few others) is aware of its very existence? Keep in mind, this is not a cover (not the rumored “Crazy Train”), nor is it a glorified segue that never made it onto a record. This is an original full-blown Tool song complete with vocals and lyrics. The title of this tune is “Problem 8 (The Riemann Hypothesis)”, and it was recorded many years ago – so long ago, in fact, that I don’t remember who played bass, although I want to say it was Justin. The length is somewhere in the six-minute range (if my memory serves me correctly), but whatever it is, the exact time had something to do with the unsolved and mysterious nature of the title. Now, not only was the song professionally recorded; it was actually ‘issued’ in a manufactured medium (though I’m not going to say whether this was vinyl, a CD, or cassette tape). Because of the ingenious way it was made available to the public, “Problem 8” , in my opinion, constitutes the ultimate hidden track. Only, don’t go looking for it among your collection (most of you, that is!), as there are no more than 30 copies on the planet. As for those who have one, most, I’m sure, aren’t aware of it, even though it might be staring them right in the eye on a near daily basis. The reason they aren’t aware of it, is because they’d never think to play it. Okay, enough said…"

"It is true. In the insert in the European version of Aenima there is a catalogue which lists these CDs. They include: "Three Fat Brown Fingers", "Nurse Ketimella’s Kit* Chen", "Just Up That Dirt Road (Tool Live at the Acropolis)", "The Bethlehem Abortion Clinic", "Crapsteaks smothered in Dictators" and "The Christmas Album by Tool." Someday I will tell you what makes ONE of these cds so special - something the band members don’t want anyone to know - though it’s there for discerning listeners. Perhaps I’ve said too much already."

"Oh, one more thing: “No”, GHWT wasn’t “the big thing” (your words) alluded to in earlier posts. I believe that’s still a go."

And finally, a capture of HB noticing blairs vagueness... (yet he seems to forget all the examples when i bring it up and makes me remind him)
Image

these are just a few i could find with a google search... and i know there is more open ended comments he has made...

Do you feel that everything Blair has mentioned regarding Tool has come to light or been followed up on?

Tool just posted this on FB.

"After going to a screening of "DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES" the other day, here's what DANNY had to say: "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" was powerful and captivating for any true 'Planet of the Apes' fan. Caesar continued to grow into the endearing and heroic character we know and love. That along with the best CGI effects I've ever seen, make it a true winner.""

What a top notch post by the band. Jesus....
