COMP isn't too shabby for easy listening. But we are talking about TOOL here, and in no way is it comparable to Lateralus. Lateralus is a beast of an album, best of all time in eyes. It will not be truly appreciated and respected for many more years to come, but I am lucky enough to have grown up to this fucking masterpiece. As for the next album I expect them to continue to progress and push the boundaries with that backbone TOOL sound that we have all grown to obsess over. Whenever they are ready to release it, I will be there waiting... Patiently.... Happily
