Vaguely planned. My uncle lives over there, and owns a couple of villas, so will be staying with him.

We'll have a bunch of kids in tow, so unlike my last trip it'll be focused mainly on them - the usual animal/water parks, etc. I'd like to do some scuba diving while there.

So I was thinking about the new album and Gnostic traditions and how they could relate to modern day cuisine. Seeing as Tool has already given us a cookie recipe maybe we have missed so much more over the years. Maynard being the wine and food connoisseur that he is one has to think there are other hidden gems.

Rumor has it if you change the songs around on the new album and then play it backwards there is a superb Lasagna recipe at the end PLUS a 10% discount code on Maynard's wine.

Nice to hear an announcement is coming, but surely it's a no brainer that there will be a Tool tour later this year, and that it'll be announced in the next few weeks. Maybe the DJ has some inside news, but it's a claim many of us could make and feel quite confident it'll come true.

No new news at all. I don't really have any doubts about the release date though.

I give it through next week to be on a “normal” release track. Late July with no news and I’m head scratching and a little peeved. Two live songs and a release date and nothing in between is bizarre.

I just had surgery and a single release or even just an album update in general would make my recover that much better! But I’m not holding my breath.

I really couldn't care less. We know the new album is coming August 30. Well you can choose to believe it will be delayed if you'd like but I have no doubts about it

Other than that, album title , track listing artwork etc. It'll come between now and August 30, when / if it gets announced before album drops , cool. If not. Also cool.

As far as the argument they've played two new songs. Its only because of the internet, our impatience and people recording songs that weren't supposed too as to why we've even heard em in the first place. Some people are just hard to please I guess

Oh totally, I was just interested to see how confident everyone was with 30/8 due to the lack of comms. And it would great to get some more info on some of these items prior to release - but if not, that's cool as long as it drops as expected who cares. I mean shit, it is only 7 weeks away!
